About the Team
MCYTT's three focus areas are Education, Leadership, and Community. The Team educates the public through workshops, and Youth Leaders teach workshops to fellow Team members at our monthly meetings. This is our Youth Teaching Youth approach. You can read more about it here. We try and cultivate leadership skills thorough hands on learning, and teaching. Every team member is encouraged to share ideas and introduce different knowledge to fellow team members. Team members are encouraged, as all 4-H members are, to be an active member of their community. MCYTT's educational outreach helps fulfill one aspect of this commitment, but since members come from across McHenry County, they are expected to fulfill the other parts of this commitment in their own communities.
