Take advantage of a new state technology opportunity!
This year, a special track will be offered at the Illinois 4-H Leadership Convention in Urbana-Champaign. This track will focus on skills needed in the workplace. The experience includes 17 hours of hands-on learning some of the latest podcast, video and internet technologies. Students will benefit from interactions with faculty and doctoral students from the community informatics department on campus, as well as several 4-H alumi who will serve as mentors and project collaborators.
If you are interested, either visit the State Extension website, or call the McHenry County Extension Unit at 815-338-3737. If cost is a factor, there are still $50 scholarships available, but potential delegates need to apply as soon as possible.
This event is not sponsored by the McHenry County Youth Technology Team.
